I bought this potty for Garrett about a month ago. Not that I think he is actually ready for potty training- but I thought having the potty and having him get used to it was a good idea. Garrett has REFUSED to sit on the potty. He has liked sticking his toys in there to go "potty"-but that is as far as we have gotten. We recently couldn't find his snack-trap that we put his goldfish in for him-then one day I saw it in his potty!! Anyway-tonight I finally got him to sit on the potty....I know clothes on....but hey it's a step!!! What a big boy we have!!

And what did it take for him to sit on it you might ask..........he loves to sit one things (a little weird I know!) so he put some of Bentley's toys (we are dog sitting for Mom and Dad this weekend) in his potty-I told him to sit on them.....VIOLA!!! How easy was that....here are the toys in the potty!! :)

Having his toys go potty is a great step towards potty training. Audrey sits on hers all the time (mostly while I am on my potty...LOL), but has yet to pee in it since Oct or Nov :( She's at the point that she'll tell me when she has already gone, but she can't tell me before she needs to go. I guess that's the next step. I'm not really attempting to train her until we get settled in VA. If/when you hear/try potty books or videos that you like let me know. Cute potty by the way... I haven't seen that one.
