Pool fun!

It didn't take long for Garrett to enjoy the pool! He had a great time splashing, playing with water balls, learning to kick, being thrown in the air, and of course jumping into Daddy's arms!!

 

Beach 2009

This weekend we went to the beach for a long weekend. Garrett was yet again afraid of the ocean this year (although alittle more interested in it-still didn't want to go in it)! We ended up finding (thanks to his brother and sister inlaw) an inlet type area where the ocean ran in however there were no waves. It was shallow enough (came up to my chest) that you could walk across to the other side where a sand bar was built up. Once we got over there we sat Garrett down and he just played and played - the ocean didn't seem too scary anymore! He had so much fun playing in the ocean with the sand (didn't get any pics of that b/c I was with them and the camera was on the other side of the inlet!!). We had a great time...it just didn't last long enough!!
