Garrett LOVES baseball- esp. the Yankees! Every night when we come home it's "baseball?, Yankees?" - he wants us to find them on TV so he can watch! It's amazing what he has picked up from watching it on TV. He will get in a squatting position and say "baseball" (I guess that means he is going to be our little catcher!), when he holds a bat to swing he "jiggles" the bat (you know, like the professionals!), and then....he started doing what your about to see in this video on Sunday. At first we couldn't figure out what he as doing...then it hit us....he is actually "running" to a "base"!! This proves how much kids absorb things.

MOTORCYCLE!!

Garrett has found a love for motorcycles...from a distance! But his cousin Michael was able to convince him to ride his dirtbike this weekend....off of course with Daddy and Michael pushing him!!

Bubble Time with Uncle Tyler

Tyler leaves Monday for New York before heading to Basic the following week. He came over today and spent the afternoon and evening with us. Garrett had gotten bubbles for Easter-but left them at Mom and Dad's. Tyler brought them today-and when Garrett saw them he immediately wanted to go outside and play with bubbles. He had a GREAT time playing with his Uncle Tyler! :)

Easter 2009

We had a busy Easter weekend! Garrett had 3....yes 3 easter egg hunts! He had a blast :) The Easter bunny visited him on Sunday and brought him a lawn mower-so now he can help Daddy when he mows :) Carleane and Bill also got Garrett a shopping cart for Easter...it is the cutest thing ever-he goes around putting things in there and pushing them...too funny!! Hope everyone had a great Easter :)

In the Army Now

That's right...my baby brother has followed in Dad's footsteps and has joined the Army. He leaves for basic in 2 weeks. This weekend we had a party in honor of him. I couldn't be more proud, and honored to call him my brother.
