Christmas play 2010
***UPDATE***
I have posted pictures up to the Christmas play...keep scrolling down!!! I will try to post pictures of Christmas Eve and Christmas tonight, if not I will post them tomorrow.....promise :)
Sorry again for the lack of updates recently. Our computer was recently taken over with a virus which left us without one for about 2 weeks, that is until Kevin convinced me to get a new one. This week I have been off of work, so I've just been lazy about downloading the software to grab pictures off of the computer. I decided since it was the new year I should get 2010 pictures up for everyone to see!!! We are leaving shortly to have a family movie afternoon, going to see Yogi Bear. Once we return I promise to work on the rest of the pictures!! But until then, here a just a piece of Garrett's Christmas play, I will write more about it later!!!
Halloween 2010
Anyway, thought I would go back and fill you in on some of the highlights since you last "saw" us. Going back to the end of October.... Garrett went Trick or Treating this year! I didn't think he would want to go "door to door" trick or treating - however after the first visitor came to Mom and Dad's door and received candy it didn't take much convincing!! So... off we went.
This year Garrett wanted to be a Carolina Football Player for Halloween....Daddy was proud!! :)

That's right....it's the letter A. Now, normally you wouldn't get to excited about seeing an "A", however you may if you realized your 3 year old wrote that all by himself!! Yep, on November 24th (I only know this thanks to my camera for telling me when I take pictures!) Garrett was drawing with his Aquadoodle when all of a sudden he looks at me and said "look Mommy it's Ashton and Ashley!" and this is what I saw. I was shocked, surprised, and so very proud!!
Now let me explain the "Ashton and Ashley". They are two kids from Garrett's class at school. They practice the alphabet by having the person or people who's name starts with the letter stand up and they sing a silly little song that goes with it. Something like; "Garrett, Garrett jump up and down, jump up and down....now sit down". Anyway, so that is how he is learning his alphabet and letters. He often will see a G and say, "hey that's my name". We are working now on the letter names and not just people names!!!
Where did my baby go??!!
